The tall ship ELISSA, that has sailed in three centuries, leads
the Navy's newest submarine the USS Texas (SSN 775) up the channel
into Port Galveston, Texas. The USS Texas, the second of the Virginia class submarines
designed after the cold war specifically for the challenges of the 21st century,
arrived for its commissioning that was held on Saturday September 9, 2006. U.S.
